Yoga is for everyone and yoga is wonderful tool for the mind, body, & spirit, a tool which develops into a loving lifestyle.....all classes are restorative and refresh the Self. all classes are taught in the Sivananda tradition & encompass all levels & welcome all beliefs.
Please Bring a yoga mat, shawl, yoga strap (if you have these items) and a positive attitude. mat rental is available for $1.00. or you can clean your mat yourself after use.

Unique Yoga Class Programs Available

Meditation Education - a chance for individuals to have a longer time to experience a deeper meditative state and understanding. This class will explore techniques, topics to enhance well being. some classes will explore chanting and mantra meanings. while others will focus on chakra balancing. This class will help us understand: What is meditation? and Why Meditate? Experiences in Mediation and obstacles. Healing our mind bodies and spirit through chakra awakening.
You & Your pooch yoga - A class for you and your dog to come to yoga class. Interaction with your dog & poses & techniques between the two of you. Also, yoga just for you. Pooch yoga can be an oppotunity for quality time to socialize out of the house with one another. Schedule a private class or join our summer program (dates & times will be announced) only socialized dogs & or friendly pooches please. All dogs are requied to wear pooch pants or bands. :D & doggie clean up on the grounds before and after will be your responsibility to clean up. So "please" bring along the proper doggie supplies for use before, during, or after class. (i offer group classes as well as private classes)
12-Step Recovery Yoga- A great way to meet with others to discuss healthier options for self-defeating behaviors and blended with the five points of yoga and more...a do not miss class for anyone who struggles with addiction. (s) no matter what the addictive behavior may be: drugs of any type (alcohol, nicotine, prescription, etc), shopping, gambling, shopping, relationships, negative thinking...the list is yours. Share your addiction type and name or generalize. Before, during and after class anonimity is practiced and RESPECTED. You may share your own experiences, not names or places. (Serendipitte is an addiction-free atmosphere, please refrain from using while in our humble atmosphere.) A minimum of one month clean time is suggested. This class is offered for groups or individuals & is available by appointments only.
Healing Meditari- This is a good class for anyone who wishes to heighten your life. Through meditation you can undertake a journey to discover your true nature. Find stability, confidenced you need to heal & live. Meditation is the road to enlightenment. This class will explore & encompass a variety of meditation practices. Freedom from stress- physical/emotional/spiritual or mental Dis-ease & disharmony-restoring emotional balance, happiness & relaxation.
Yoga Celebration Parties - Have that special occassion be unique. Serendipitte can help you design and host a yogic party for any age. prices will vary.

During meditation, our bodies are still, thus creating a time of peace for our bodies, minds and spirits. the more we meditate the more easily we can access this state. The joy and happiness we feel in meditation lingers long after our silent practice. we learn to act and react from a higher place, unruffled by lifes problems.
By learning the art and through practicing meditation we will have a defense system against stress, disease & illness. An off-centered body mind or spirit can cause added Stress is a leading cause of dis-ease. A body not at ease. Through meditation we can learn to heal our minds, body and soul. Meditation is a way for us to learn how to control our reaction. Stress interferes with the healthy functioning of some of our bodily systems that are required to resist disease. Hormones are released during stress-sometimes referred to as “flight or fight response.” Our bodies become so accustomed to reacting in such a way that we learn to carry this “state of stress” in our body on a daily basis. Our body has no way to rid ourselves of this “bottled up stress.” Hence dis-ease can occur in different ways: strain on the heart, lungs, circulatory systems, stomach aches, anxiety, headaches, and even breathing problems are to name just a few.
